If you have a 3-year-old child in Kosciusko County, Indiana, you may want to consider applying for a grant.
Thanks to a $2.8 million grant from the Lilly Endowment, the county's Community Foundation is offering up to $50,000 to early-childhood programs to add or improve space, as well as to improve the quality of care, the Times of Northwest Indiana reports.
"Access to childcare continues to be an ongoing issue the Community Foundation and its partners seek to address," says Alex Hall, vice president of programs at the foundation.
"We are excited to invest in our local childcare programs to increase the capacity and quality of care for the families in our region."
The application process will remain open on a rolling basis.
