Walton Family Foundation Awards Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art
Foundation: Walton Family Foundation
The Walton Family Foundation has awarded $1.2 billion to the new Crystal Bridges Museum ofAmerican Art in Bentonville, Arkansas.
The grant money was divided in two, $800 million will fund museum operations, art acquisitions and future capital improvements. Meanwhile, the additional $403 milion will fund artwork and general operating expenses.
