Sixth-graders at a Massachusetts school are turning trash found on the beach into art.
Hull's Jacobs Elementary School is hosting a live viewing of students' work on Friday from 2pm to 3pm, reports the Hull Daily Gazette.
The students collected 40 bags of trash from Nantasket Beach last month and will be turning them into works of art over the next few weeks during art classes taught by teachers Emily Pestone and Kate Cicalese.
The pieces will then be hung at the school for years to come.
